Potential courses based on this book
At the Universities and Colleges, the book could be used for the following purposes:
  1. Textbook for a stand-alone protocol oriented course in which communication and protocol aspects will be covered in details and the structure and functionality of the tags will be understood at the high-level. Chapters 2, basics of 1, 3, 4 and 5, 6-12, 16 and 17 should be covered.
  2. Main book for the technology-oriented course in which details of functionalities of RFID readers and tags will be covered and networks and other aspects will be mentioned. Chapters 1-6, basics of 7 and 8, 14-19 should be covered. This book will be supplemented with the research articles or other books that cover RF and antenna issues.
  3. Part of recommended readings in more general RFID courses.
