The conference hotel will be The
Westin Ottawa. This hotel is a two minute walk from the Parliament Buildings, a five minute walk from the University of
Ottawa, where
some co-located meetings may be held, and is attached to the Rideau
Centre, one of Ottawa's main shopping centres (which also
contains cinemas).
The main Ottawa restaurant and cultural area, the Byward Market, is just 3 minutes walk.

The conference room rate is 175 Canadian Dollars a night for a standard
room. At current exchange rates this worrks out to about 144 US Dollars.
We would appreciate it if you do book with the conference hotel since we
have a commitment to fill rooms in exchange for being given free meeting
space (which reduced registration costs).
Please note: After March 25th, we cannot guarantee space in our block
booking at the hotel, so we advise booking before then
