  • Born on September 23, 1878 in Düsseldorf as the first son of the painter Gregor von Bochmann
  • Studies at the Düsseldorfter Akademie under Karl Janssen
  • Marries Marianne Feddersen, the daughter of the painter Hans Peter Feddersen, the first September 1905
  • Dies in the battle of Aisne in France (near Laon)  on September 20, 1914
  • Memorial exhibition from May 6 through June 3, 1917 in the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf
