The DAF formulates queries and their results in terms of resources, properties, and values. For example, the simplest query
asks for the values of several properties of a given resource. The results are collectively known as a resource description.
Other queries request information for all the resources belonging to a given class. These raw ingredients of the DAF are defined
below.
