The IEC 61970-30x [8] draft standard (also named CIM) describes a specific organization of power system objects in a hierarchical
structure. DAIS is transparent to the structure and hence supports the IEC 61970 structure.
DAIS is also transparent to what attributes are defined as long as they can be reached through the hierarchy. DAIS however
defines a set of attributes that a DAIS server is expected to support. Some of these attributes can also be found in IEC 61970-30x.
A detailed attribute mapping is provided later in this specification and is further elaborated
in Section 4.1.5, “Utility SCADA/EMS Measurement Model,? on page 4-5.
