Besselian element			One of several quantities tabulated for the calculation of accurate predictions of an eclipse or occultation for any point on or above the surface of the Earth.
mean element			One of several elements of an adopted reference orbit (see elements, orbital) that approximates the actual, perturbed orbit. Mean elements may serve as the basis for calculating perturbations.
