Kinds of mass motion :

• contraction (10 kinds, 26 facts) - A mass motion towards the center of gravity of a celestial body
• convection (1 kind, 4 facts) - A mass motion in a circulatory pattern. Process in the Sun (and possibly other stars) perhaps caused by solar rotation, which produces the immensely powerful electrical and magnetic fields associated with sunspots.
