Abstract

Many people use mobile devices to do their e-commerce business from anywhere and anytime. This presentation shows a simple framework that supports mobile agents to help customers participate in consumer-to-consumer e-commerce process at remote locations by means of their mobile devices. As a reference implementation of standardization body FIPA, this flexible architecture increase the interoperability between agent systems, and provides high scalability design for swiftly moving across the network. Because of limited connection time, consumers can initiate a mobile agent at first and then dispatch to Internet, and call back the agent after reconnection, minimizing the connection costs.
