Title: Channel Assignment problem in Wireless Mesh Networks.
Abstract:
A Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) is a mesh topology network of nodes
interconnected using wireless links. In a WMN, interference between
near links using the same radio frequency is a common problem that
degrades the network performance. In order to increase the network
throughput, each node is equipped with several network interfaces set
to different channels, allowing simultaneous non-interfering
communications. However, to assign channels the radio interfaces is an
NP-problem. In this presentation, we analyze the characteristics of the
CA for WMN problem, its search space, and we discuss some of the latest
approaches.
