In my presentation, I will give an introduction to my thesis “Addressing quality and privacy issues in enterprise system for performance management” and related information and technologies.  

There are four sections in this presentation: 

1. Performance Management. Aggregation of operational data that measure business performance. 

Example: Hospital, Balanced Scorecard 

1. Enterprise System.  

Example: Cognos, Service Oriented Architecture, Data Warehouse. 

1. What kinds of quality will be addressed? Non-functional requirement, such as scalability, privacy, performance and reliability. 

1. How to set up data warehouse with real world data with real world volumes while protecting privacy, for example, hospital data. Take de-identified, small kernel, clone and grow data warehouse to match target aggregate behavior. 

1. Communicate testing results using performance management system can be done not only in development of system but also after release into production.
