Title: Object Based Caching and Prefetching Protocols in 3D Ditrubted Virtaul Environments.


Abstract

Virtual reality applications can be useful in many real world applications such as
education, virtual conferences, entertainment and virtual shopping where a user experiences
walkthough of a large virtual objects in the Internet. Such enviroment provides users with
the ability to view and explore a remote environment without physical presence.
To reach the good performance for this kind of applications, We need to have effective
(1) Object Modeling to reduce the objects rendering time.
(2) Caching mechanism to reduce the amount of data requested over the network.
(3) Prefetching mechanism for predicting future accessed object.
