The number of membership of the BUAA CENTER/ MISS is 120.

The present management committee members of the BUAA CENTER/ MISS are: Bo Hu Li, Xingren Wang, Guanghong Gong, Zongji Chen, Minglian Zhang, Xiaoyuan Peng and  Gongzhang Shen.

 

4.         Recent Academic programme:

Annual Simulation Conference¡ª¡ªThe Annual Academic Conference of Chinese System Simulation Association will be held in XiAn, P.R.China, September, 2003.

 

5.         Research activities include:

(1) Distributed Interacted Simulation technology research and application:

l         Creating distributed interacted simulation systems based HLA.

l         The simulation entities¡ª¡ªCGF(Compute Generation Force), man-in-loop flight simulator research development

l         Environment render¡ª2D-3D display system, sound system research

l         Distributed simulation architecture, communication mechanism, standard and specification

l         Modeling method¡ªentity dynamics and physical characteristics modeling, intelligent decision making modeling, verification, validation and accreditation (VVA) of M&S,

l         Simulation management and system integration

l         Distributed database system application

(2) VR technology and application research

l         The presentation and generation of Synthetic Natural Environment(SNE)

l         3D modeling, image generating, drive, and display of the multi-channel visual system based microcomputer and work station

l         Virtual cockpit based helmet and digital glove

l         Modeling and display of the 3D virtual sound

(3) Comprehensive system theory and its formal modeling

l         The comprehensive system consists of engineering and non-engineering, living being and nonliving being, micro and macro, thought and practice, subjective and objective world, individuals and groups, system and environment, ¡­ etc. The word Comprehensive also includes the connotation of idea and understanding.

l         A comprehensive system could be abstracted as a comprehensive event dynamic system, which includes continuous, discrete and inference decision event dynamic systems. It would be convenient to modeling and analyzing.

l         The comprehensive system theory would be composed of concept, structure, specific features, kinetics, dynamics, stability, attainability and system optimization for the comprehensive system. 

l         The mathematic modeling for the competitive and synergetic system.

l         The multistage linearization-high order differentiation equation method for solving , analyzing and synthesizing the nonlinear and variable parameter system.
