CSI 2172 Regulations

    ALL assignments in this course are subject to ALL the following regulations.

  • Late assignments will NOT be accepted. The assignment due date and time will be written at the beginning of each.

  • Don't hand in assignments too early. Hand them in the week they are due.

  • If the question requires you to write a program, hand in a printout of this program AND a 3.5" high density diskette containing no files except the files related to the current assignment (Source code and executable). File name indicates the assignment and the question number (e.g. for question #2 in assignment #3 the file name should be A3Q2.extention, this extention may be .CPP, .EXE, or whatever name according to the question).

  • For each question that requires a handwritten answer, type it (or clearly print it) on a sheet of paper. If the answer requires more than one sheet staple them together.

  • Hand in your assignment in a 9"x12" envelope with ALL the following information clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:
    • Name,
    • Student number.
    • Course number.
    • Assignment number.
    • Lab-Section (if any).
    • TA's name (if any).

  • All previous information must be written on:
    • the diskette you hand in;
    • at the beginning of each program (as comments); and
    • at the beginning of any separate sheet (or stapled sheets cover) for handwritten answers.

  • The location where you will hand in assignments will be announced later.

  • IMPORTANT
    Do your assignment individually, I expect you to discuss the assignments among yourselves but I don't expect you to hand in copies of the same solution. So, when you write your solution, write it alone.
