Speaker: Joy Morris, University of Lethbridge Time: Tuesday February 10, 11:00-12:00 Place: room STE 5084, SITE Building, University of Ottawa Title: Wreath Products of Graphs and Automorphism Groups Abstract: The wreath product is an interesting and attractive construction that has proven very important in determining the automorphism groups of various classes of graphs. A variety of results will be presented on wreath products of graphs, focussing on their automorphism groups. Some results that have been achieved by using the wreath product as an inductive stop will be mentioned. Much of this is based on joint work with Ted Dobson of Mississippi State University.
