Professional Development Workshops

Leadership Needed!

Organizations are interested in hiring candidates who have leadership experience.  Here are opportunities to take a leadership role in the organization of Professional Development Workshops.

FAQ and Resources Manager - The FAQ Manager will maintain an FAQ document posted on the PDC website that lists common questions that students have related to the PDC and the Professional Development Workshops.  These will be assembled from the PDC Facebook Group, PDC Executive, and Program Coordinators. 

Events and Industry Contacts Manager – The Events Coordinator will maintain a list of events of interest to PDC members, help schedule networking events with industry and be the contact for invited workshop speakers.  

Program Coordinator – The program coordinator, on behalf of their graduate program, will coordinate student registration into peer groups, and organize resources and events specific to their program.  They will be active in their program’s student association and advocate on behalf of their program to both the Professional Development Club and the Graduate Office.  Here is the current list https://professionaldevclub.wordpress.com/students/program-coordinators/
