Database Systems for Advanced Applications
April 11-14, 1995, National University of Singapore, Singapore

AIMS OF THE SYMPOSIUM
This symposium provides an international forum for technical discussion
among researchers, developers, and users of database systems from
academia, business and industry. DASFAA focuses on research in database
theory, development on advanced DBMS technologies, and their advanced
applications. Papers for implemented systems from academia's prototypes
and advanced industry projects are strongly solicited.
TOPICS OF INTEREST
Original papers concerned with both theory and practice are solicited.
The areas of interest include, but are not limited to the following:

Parallel and Distributed Databases
Object-Oriented and Interoperable Databases
Temporal, Active, and Deductive Databases
Spatial Databases
Statistical and Scientific Databases

Machine Learning/Knowledge Discovery
Intelligent User Interfaces
PAPER SUBMISSIONS
Authors are invited to submit five copies of an original paper on topics
including, but not limited to those listed above, to one of the two
program committee co-chairs. Manuscripts must be in English, typed in
double spaced format in 12 point font, and not more than 5000 words.
