any undergraduate students interested in research

Prof. WonSook Lee (wslee@uottawa.ca, http://www.eecs.uottawa.ca/~wslee)

My research interests are Computer Graphics, Computer Animation, Image Processing, and Medical applications. The projects listed here are possible topics for undergraduate project courses. The lists will be updated from time to time. If you are interested in taking on one of these projects, contact me at the address below.

Note: some of these projects are collaborative research with other researchers or local companies.

Two students under my supervision obtained the COGNOS honor's project prizes in Winter 2008 and Fall 2006!

Below are the lists of projects, but your innovative idea is always very welcome.

  1. Your own innovation

  2. Modeling and Animation using Kinect

    • Have you heard about Microsoft Kinect? it's amazing toy with which we can do lots of things! We will investigate how to make a face model using this equipment.
  3. Ultrasound image processing

    • We have Ultrasound images for tongue reconstruction. It will be a fun to see how you move your tongue.
  4. Procedural modeling

    • Animation can be done either physical based modeling or rule-based modeling. Somebody interested in finding rules of natural scene, it's the project.
