Honours BSc with Specialization in Computer Science Bioinformatics Option
The Faculty of Engineering has announced last January the addition of a new Bioinformatics Options for undergraduate students enrolled in the Computer Science program.

Joint collaborative program in bioinformatics (MSc)
Starting from January 2008, Carleton University and the University of Ottawa will offer a Collaborative Program leading to an MSc degree with Specialization in Bioinformatics or MSc of Computer Science degree with Specialization in Bioinformatics. Inquiries can be directed either to Dr. Stéphane Aris-Brosou (sarisbro at uottawa dot ca) or to Dr. Michel Dumontier (Michel_Dumontier at carleton dot ca).
- Undergraduate bioinformatics studies
- Strong mathematical and programming skills are a great asset. The Joint Honours BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics is an excellent choice. Make sure to select as many electives as you can in the Life Sciences (see below);
