Helical Wheel with Java

This page presents an application of Java to the field of molecular biology. This applets draws an helical wheel, i.e. an axial projection of a regular alpha-helix, for a given sequence, starting number and selected coloring scheme (see hydrophobic scale). The source code can be found here: HelixWheelUI.java, while classes, scale data, html page and source are bundled (tar.gz) in HelixWheelUI.tar.gz or zipped HelixWheel.zip. (screenshot)
