The purpose of the DAF is to supply information about resources, or resource descriptions. A resource description gives a
value for each of several properties of a given resource. The simplest resource description describes a single property and
is made up of a resource identifier, a property identifier, and a simple value. This elemental resource description is sometimes
called a statement, or a triple. In the DAF a resource description is represented by the type ResourceDescription.
