Much attention has been taken to ensure that the CWM metamodel has been made as generic as possible, and that only information
that is shareable between different implementations has been included in the metamodel. Shareability of information has been
checked and refined by examining the metadata needs of several different, but representative, implementations as well as a
broad range of representative warehouse configurations.
