Curiouser and Curiouser!! - Alice in Wonderland

About me

I am a Post Doctoral Fellow working with Prof. Amiya Nayak and Prof. Ivan Stojmenovic. My primary interests are in applied security, combinatorics and cryptography. I am currently working on security and related aspects of mobile ad hoc networks, vehicular networks, clouds and smart grids.

Before joining University of Ottawa in May 2010, I was a Erasmus Mundus Post Doctoral Fellow working with Prof. Thomas Johansson at Lund University, Sweden. I completed a Ph. D. at Indian Statistical Institute, India in 2009. My advisor was Prof. Bimal Roy. My Ph. D. thesis is about applications of combinatorial designs to key predistribution. I received a BE degree in Computer science from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur, India in 2004. It is the second oldest Engineering College in India.

I was born and raised in Durgapur Steel City in India. I went to Carmel School, Durgapur Steel township till grade 10 (1998) and then DAV Model School(2000).

I am crazy about fish/seafood and I drink more tea than water.
