Dear csi2131 students,

All assignments in file management will be marked using
the compiler Visual Studio .NET version 2003.
This is precisely the version available at the SITE
lab facilities and is the version you have been
using in your labs.

I strongly advise you to use this compiler, and build
your project exactly as instructed in lab 1, so that
your TA and you will be compiling it exactly in the same way.
Programs that cause compilation errors in this compiler
will be treated as non-compiling program.

In order to download a free copy of this compiler under
the "msdn acadamic alliance" with SITE, please go to
the following web page:

Log in to the system and select the product
"Visual Studio .NET 2003 Professional - Full Install"

This is the exact version in our labs. Please, do not download newer
versions.

I warn you that I had troubles with this download with some browsers,
as they did not save the download file with the right "exe" extension.
For a trouble-free download you may want to use internet explorer.

Any problems with your ELMS-MSDNAA account should be
directed to Miguel Gonzalez, as specified in the web
page above.

Please, if you have any troubles with these downloads, simply use the
compiler at the lab until your problems are solved. You have
been provided the resources at SITE to enable you to complete this
assignment (which is due in two weeks from today).
