The First International Conference on
e-Learning For All
LEAFA 2010 the 1st International Conference on
e-Learning For All will be held in Hammamet
(Tunisia), on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of June,
2010. LEAFA 2010 will be hosted by the Virtual
University of Tunis (VUT) and the University of
Ottawa as joint organizers.
The
main objective of LEAFA 2010 is to highlight,
promote and disseminate the new technologies and
innovations in the field of e-learning. The wide
scope of LEAFA 2010 should provide an excellent
opportunity for sharing experiences, knowledge
and ideas amongst researchers and scientists
from academia, practitioners, vendors and
government departments.
This
conference will be held at international level,
counting with the participation of attendants
from all parts and continents of the world.
With
the New technologies there is a potential for
e-learning to overcome physical barriers and to
equalize the experience to all groups in
society. It could have a crucial role in
preventing exclusion from the knowledge-based
society by defining priority actions for certain
target groups (minorities, people with
disabilities, the under-qualified) and women,
and by providing a sound basic education.
New
Technologies in e-learning are opening up huge
possibilities for disabled people to gain better
access to education and training. In this first
conference LEAFA 2010, there will be a special
focus on the advances in the design of
e-learning appropriate for these groups in
society.
We
would like to invite you to submit your
abstracts and to attend in order to share your
achievements in the educational experiences and
technological methodologies applied to these
fields.
