Design Tomorrow's World Tuesday, December 8th, 2009
Hosted by Carleton University, the University of Ottawa, and Algonquin College, Design Tomorrow's World is an opportunity for students from grades 8 to 11
to explore engineering and technology alongside professionals and post-secondary
students.
Students, accompanied by their teachers, will learn about some of the
amazing things female engineers and technologists are doing and participate in cool hands-on activities.
Each participant will get to do two hands-on activities.

9-9:20 Registration
9:20-10:00 Welcome and Keynote Speaker
10:00-12:00 Hands-on Activities
12:00-13:00 Lunch and Follow-up

Registration: Teachers must fill out a Registration Form and email it to Rosalyn at seeton@sce.carleton.ca
This event is mainly for female students, but a limited number of male students will be accepted. Please contact Rosalyn if you would like to register male students. Registration will close November 27th, or when the maximum capacity is reached. A maximum of 30 students per school board will be accepted.
