Runlegth & Huffman Applets

   


Runlength Coding

The reduced coefficients can be encoded using either Huffman, runlength or arithmetic coding. The user will notice that this step is lossless, so it doesn't affect image quality. Because of the nature of these encoding algorithm, these applets are developed to use both data images and text as input

Based on the complexity der coding table, this applet is only available for image data. The data are the same as from the encodin applet.
