    Computational Linguistics / Natural Language Processing / Artificial Intelligence, more specifically: Natural Language Understanding and Generation, Lexical Semantics, Information Retrieval, Information Extraction, Automatic Text Classification, and Semantic Web.
I am the Director of the NLP Lab. More about my research (projects, graduate students, committee). My wider research group is Text analysis and Machine Learning. I am orgazing the TAMALE seminars.
I am organizng a local edition of the North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad NACLO. See also Ateliers TAL
