Text (recommended)

 

o       "Java Programming:  From Problem Analysis to Program Design, 2nd Edition" by D.S. Malik. Available at the Agora Bookstore, (operated by the Student Federation of the University of Ottawa), at 145 Besserer Street , near the corner of Waller.

o       The text includes a CD with the Java 5.0 software used in the course.  If you are working on your own computer, you may find installing the software from the CD to be more convenient than downloading the software from the internet.
