I am an assistant professor in the School of
Information Technology and Engineering (SITE) at the
University of Ottawa . I am associated with the
Communications Software Engineering Research Group (CSERG) .
I am interested in the area of software engineering, especially testing. My area
of specific research is on system testing when there are multiple,
interchangeable, system components. I have also done work in the area of
specifications (particularly with the Specification and Description Language
SDL) and test generation.
I received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Ottawa in 2002. I also
studied at the University of Waterloo, from which I received B.Math (Honours
Applied Mathematics, Honours Computer Science) and M.Math (Computer Science)
degrees in 1985 and 1988 respectively. I also have over six years of experience
in the telecommunications industry.
