Welcome to the SPOT (the Signal Processing Oriented Technologies research group) The Signal Processing Oriented Technologies (SPOT) group is active in research related to processing of signals including speech, audio, acoustics, video, biometrics, etc. The group is involved in both the development of algorithms and practical implementation issues. SPOT is a collaboration of several professors in the School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE, University of Ottawa) and the School of Rehabilitation Sciences (program of Audiology, University of Ottawa).
