Title: Spatial Adaptation of H.264 Videos
Abstract:
Spatial
video adaptation schemes are necessary to overcome display constraints
for devices unable to render high resolution videos, e.g. mobile
devices. However, not much work have been done for spatial adaptation
of H.264 videos, which is the predominant video format for online video
streaming (e.g. google video). In this presentation, I present some
details about spatial adaptation and some adaptation techniques for
H.264 videos, e.g. (a) scaling the video to a particular display
resolution, and (b) cropping a particular region form the video stream.
