Title: Real-time 3D Fluids: From Haptic Device to Smartphones

In this presentation, we first review our 3D fluid system which is an integration of fluid simulation and haptic force feedback. We are also porting the fluid system to smartphones and mobile devices, such as iPhone and iPad.  Such a system requires using and innovating high performance techniques while considering limitations of hardware (both CPU and GPU) in mobile devices, as our primary objective is designing a 3D fluid simulation which runs in real-time with a proper FPS and can be used in video games. Consequently, the users have the choice to interact with the fluid simulation by a haptic device or get the benefits of touching devices to produce the final result in an easy way.
