Title: Virtual Data Integration for Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract:

Wireless Sensor Networks’ applications are becoming larger and more diverse than ever, since the recent advancements in the deployment of these networks alongside the development of cheaper and more sophisticated sensor nodes. As for the end users, managing and making sense of all the information collected from all the networks is becoming a challenging task, therefore it’s imperative to devise systems that are able to gather and analyze the queried data in order to provide the user with a comprehensive outlook. One solution to this dilemma is the use of Virtual Data Integration where multiple sources of data from different Wireless Sensor Networks are collected, analyzed and made available to the end user without the hassle or the need to deal with different Wireless Sensor Networks architectures or data formats.
