Title: An Ambient Intelligent Body
Sensor Network for e-Health Applications
Abstract:
This presentation describes an ambient intelligent Body Sensor Network
(BSN) for
e-Health applications. BSN plays an important role in the development
of many
e-Health applications. It acts as an ambient intelligent environment by
maintaining and monitoring human health status. The BSN can push and
send back
different data including raw sensory signals and events as well as
context
information. The framework which was suggested has the following
features: First,
capability of pushing the sensory data from the BSN and surrounding
environment
to a health service provide. Second, Facilitate a remote query
structure for any sensory
data from one's BSN whether the patient at home or roaming freely in
real-time. This work
has been published in two papers in IEEE Medical Measurements And
Applications 2009, and IEEE International
Conference on Multimedia and Expo 2009.
