Title: Multimedia adaptation path construction
Abstract
In
this seminar, I will present an overview of different approaches used
in multimedia content adaptation. The main focus will be given to
pre-processing methods that generate paths of adaptation services (e.g.
color reduction, compression) that are tailored to user and system
requirements. I will review adaptation path construction methods that
incorporate graphs and finite automata principals. Decision logic
behind each approach will be presented in terms of benefits and
challenges that it faces.
