Title: High-Performance HLA Simulations
Abstract: The High Level
Architecture (HLA) enables simulations to communicate with one another
independant of platform using the Run-Time Infrastructure (RTI). Each
independant simulation may consist of very complex and compuationally
intensive behavior; thus, running a large number of simulations
concurrently may be impossible due to system constraints. To get around
these limitations, this presentation will discuss methods of achieving
high performance in large-scale HLA simulations through the use of
clustered computing, and the properties of distributed simulations
which benefit most from clustered architectures.
