Title: Details and the Simulation of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks
Abstract:
Mobile Ad Hoc Networks are self-organizing networks of routers (or
hosts) that are connected using wireless links and in which these hosts
are allowed to move making change to the structure of the networks.
These networks use no fixed infrastructure. Hence, such networks may
make the dream of being connected Anywhere Anytime achievable. In this
presentation, I will talk about the issues associated with Simulating
such networks with more concentration on those that use the Bluetooth
for wireless communication. Even more, I will concentrate also on the
problem of the details in simulating these networks and to what level
should we consider it. I will talk also about our experience with
Bluetooth Ad Hoc Networks.
